The Marriage Course is designed for any couple who wants to invest in their relationship, whether you have been together one year or sixty, and whether you have a strong relationship or are struggling. The course is full of tips and tools that will benefit your relationship enabling you face all that life throws at you.

How Much Does The Marriage Course Cost?

The Marriage Course costs £15 per couple, payable on the first session. This fee goes towards the running costs of the course.

We do not want this cost to stop anybody from doing the course. So if you are unable to pay but would like to attend, please do get in touch.

What Topics Are Covered?

The Marriage Course covers a wide variety of important topics over the seven weeks. The seven sessions are:

What Happens on a Typical Evening?
The evening is low-key, friendly and relaxed. It starts with refreshments, where there is time to meet new people (if you want to!), then you will sit at a table for two, and watch short sections of a DVD from the writers of the Marriage Course, Nicky & Sila Lee, after which you will have time to reflect on and discuss together with your partner what you have just watched.
The evening will usually finish around 9.45pm.
Is There Any Group Work?

No! There is no group work at all on the course, and you will not be asked to share personal information with anyone. The only discussion about your marriage that you will have is between you and your partner.

If you find that there are issues raised during the course which you would like to talk through with someone, then the course supervisors will be able to help you find the right help.

Is The Marriage Course A Christian Course?

Yes and no! The course has been written and developed by a Christian couple, Nicky & Sila Lee, who present the material on the DVD. They make references at times to their faith and how it has helped their marriage, but the course is aimed at helping every couple build their marriage on wise general principles. Christian or not, The Marriage Course is thoroughly enjoyed by and helpful to all.
